Eucomis comosa Sparkling Burgundy

Reddish-purple flowers from red stems and burgundy leaves. Attractive pink seed heads.

Common name:  Pineapple Lily.
Flowering period:  Late summer and autumn.
Special note:  Hardy variety of eucomis. Protect from severe frosts when very young.
Typical mature height:  20 inches ( 51 cms )
Hardiness:  Hardy. Should withstand average to cold UK winters.
