Hardy gladiolus. Dense spikes of deep purple-red flowers.

Flowering period:  Late spring to summer.
Growing conditions:  Well-drained soil in sun.
Special note:  Will naturalise in light soils.
Typical mature height:  32 inches ( 81 cms )
Hardiness:  Hardy. Should withstand average to cold UK winters.
