Phytolacca americana

Dramatic, fast-growing, herbaceous perennial. White or pink flower spikes develop into dark maroon berries.rolex kopia.

Common name:  American pokeweed
Flowering period:  Mid summer.
Growing conditions:  Moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.
Special note:  Note: Berries highly toxic if swallowed and sap can be an irritant.
Typical mature height:  60 inches ( 152 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
