Violet-blue pea flowers.

Common name:  False Indigo
Flowering period:  May to July.
Growing conditions:  Deep, well-drained soil in sun.
Special note:  Leave attractive dark grey seed heads over winter. Clump-forming.
Typical mature height:  32 inches ( 81 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
