Papaver orientale 'Medallion'

Long-blooming variety. Plum-red flowers fading to dusky pink.

Flowering period:  May to July and often later.
Growing conditions:  Moist soil in light shade.
Special note:  Cut hard back after flowering.
Typical mature height:  36 inches ( 91 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
