Catananche caerulea

Known as Cupid's Dart. Branched sprays of large, dark-centred, lavender-blue daisies over grassy leaves. Flowers can be dried.

Flowering period:  June to September.
Growing conditions:  Full sun in well-drained soil.
Typical mature height:  24 inches ( 61 cms )
Hardiness:  Hardy. Should withstand average to cold UK winters.
