Camassia quamash (syn esculenta)

Rich, dark purple-blue flowers with bright yellow stamens. Borders or in rough grass.

Flowering period:  May to June.
Growing conditions:  Moist soil in spring (can be dry in summer). Sun or part shade.
Typical mature height:  12 inches ( 30 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
