Euphorbia characias subsp. wulfenii

Upright, sparsely-branched sub-shrub. Large, rounded heads of greenish-yellow flowers. Cut back after flowering.

Flowering period:  Spring.
Growing conditions:  Sheltered, sunny position in light soil.
Special note:  Always wear gloves when working with euphorbias. The milky sap is a skin irritant. Cut back dead flowering stems in autumn.
Typical mature height:  48 inches ( 122 cms )
Hardiness:  Hardy. Should withstand average to cold UK winters.
