Angelica gigas

Architectural umbellifer bearing huge crimson flowers. Allow to seed as it is usually monocarpic.

Flowering period:  June to September.
Growing conditions:  Deep, moist soil in full or part shade.
Typical mature height:  60 inches ( 152 cms )
Hardiness:  Very hardy. Should withstand severe winters and exposed sites.
